SHO Model Engine

Available : SHO Taurus 3.0 L V6 Engine Cutaway Model
This cast resin model is an accurate recreation of the actual cutaway engine that was introduced to the public in magazines and at auto shows in 1988. It was also displayed at SHO Conventions.
The model engine here is a tribute to the unique Ford-Yamaha collaboration that created a superb high-output engine with one of the all time most beautiful intake manifolds. Because some of the manifold is removed for the cutaway engine, this display features a separate intake manifold so the full effect can be enjoyed. This model was commissioned by Don Mallinson of the SHO Club.
The engine and intake are mounted on a solid, heavy cast resin base and numbered 236/300. Custom Display Case and a Framed Certificate of Authenticity is included.

i know this might be a bit early to start talking about but i thought i should start people thinking of it now so they can plan ahead and set up the free time in advance

I was thinking of getting as Meany sho owners together from this site as we can for a big meet
now i know we had quite a few show up for marcel's BBQ and that was great id like to double that if we can or more so i was thinking of a meet in spring maybe June or something maybe a cruse or BBQ or something alone those lines so if u need to start putting Ur SHO in good working order now in time for this meet u should have loads of time and I'm willing to help out in any way needed. i spin a mean wrench and i hope fellow members would be willing to lend a hand also
i so dearly love these cars as most of u do also and would love to see all of u there

so hears hopeing u all can make it

SHO Insurance Rates?

What do you guys pay a year (do you drive the SHO yr round or store for the winter?) to insure an SHO?

I did a quick online quote with TD home/auto and belair direct. TD chimed in with 2300 a yr and 2400 for belair direct.

It's a 15 yr old car, im 21, insurance is more then i paid for the car. Hell, its more then my cousin pays for his 5.0L mustang (its under his dads insurance though).

Wondering what rates you guys get with what companies here in Ontario. Hoping to find a trend of who offers lower rates.

Why wont it let me register for the forums? It says my email is banned.....tried others, and they are banned. Never been on this website. I've got some questions about a suspension set-up and would liek to pm RonPorter as he had KYB GR2's with eibachs and thats the set-up im considering right now.

The forum seems active, i sent two messages to the admin and nothing back yet. Kinda wanna get at this info as i want to get the car on the road so i can get in a week or two of driving it before istore it for the winter. Also have to do mufflers/brakes/undercoat it. I dont want the car on the road if its snowing :|

95 SHO MTX WHITE cert and etest

1995 SHO MTX white with full grey leather. 195Km. Clutch with 10K, newer starter, alt, SFB and tires. Everything is stock and works (except A/C). Runs strong and drives great. Clean.

The big question rust.

Overall this car is in really good shape. The drivers rear wheel well is starting to bubble and its starting to get thin under the airbox (not beside the strut tower). Undercarrage, inner doors, sills and rockers are super clean and rust free. My body man is willing to fix the rust spots properly for around $300 which im doing regardless but giving the heads up before its done if one wants to see. Oh yeah typical bubbling of some of the window trim on the doors.

I would like to trade for equal condition or better (willing to pay a little extra) preferably same year ATX. (Long story but has to do with wife). No high mileage cars pls.

Ill sell outright for $2100 cert and etest without paint repair.

basic paint the entire car for $800 or fix and blend spots for the $300. (Paint price does not reflect quality as this is my price).

Guys... It's been some time since I've been around. I'm just in the process of moving from Brantford to Goderich. Sooo.
It's time to let these guys go..

I had a lot of fun with these cars,but to many projects on the go and hate to see them sit. Let me know what you guys think. They can be parted out as well.

Aother Year Done

Guess its getting close to putting the car away for the winter. As soon as the snow flies and they start salting the roads - away in the garage until spring. I just got back from Drive Clean and it passed with flying colours.

Rolled 200K this month as well.

The new tires (Bridgestones per Teg's advice) make the car a blast to drive in the corners.

Nice to see the site back up and running, I got nervous for a few days there.

Hey everyone whats up? I havent been on here since i sold my gen 3 beast.... so i thought i'd post what i own now and what the sho money went towards buying. Its a 2000 F-150 supercab 4x4 flareside 5.4 Liter triton and i love it............. my plow and tailgate sander will be going on it in the next few weeks. No i wont be beating the crap out of it... it will be oilsprayed before the snow falls and will be properly cleaned 2-3 times a week. Anyone need they're driveway plowed? lol Part of the sho lives on in my truck... the 1.188 watt system i had installed in the sho is now in my truck!

Anyone driven the new 2010 SHO?

On Saturday Nov 7th our dealership was invovled in a fund raising event for a local high school. Since I'm a huge Ford fan and just bought a '95 SHO, i was allowed to be the steward for the 2010 SHO. People were allowed to take the vehicle for a test drive (we had a selection of all ford vehicles except mustangs) and i sat beside them. I loved it. People were very impressed with the 2010 SHO and i was able to fill them in on its features and what not. Also talked about the older SHO's with a few people who knew about them. There seems to be huge interest in the new SHO's (despite the 53K price tag).

I like them and cant wait to see the aftermarket crowd get a hold of these. Driving the 2010 SHO (and being a passenger) was a very enjoyable experience.

Do we have any new SHO owners here yet?

Well I picked up a blue (Anyone know the exact name of the colour for the car?) 1995 SHO auto. It's got 88K km's, no rust, old lady driven, and i bought it for 1300 bucks. It needs springs/brakes/mufflers to cert/safety. I'm in the market for springs/struts (might as well do it all since it needs work done anyways). I hear the eibach springs and koni struts are a good set-up for the price, any opinions on that?

I plan on making a few modifications to it but looking for a good knowledge base on what mods are best and that sort of stuff. What i've been thinknig about so far is:

-CAI from SHOsource.com
-MAF from performance-plus.com (its a 75mm)
-performance mufflers
-maybe a throttle body. i dont want to lose any bottom end power so i need to do some research o nvarious set-ups on other cars first.
-Tune, I contacted Steeda in milton and they might be able to do it but need to know what type of pcm i have. I couldnt read any serial on the pcm and the mechanic at work said i might be able to read it if i unplug the power connector to it but most likely i would have to remove it to see the label.

I'm new to this whole SHO thing but know how great these vehicles are so im looking to drive it during the summer only and increase the performance. My cousin has a 5.0L mustang and when we go to the track in the spring i need something thats going to give him a challange lol

Customer came into the shop today, told me he was at a scap yard in Creemore.
they got a 2nd gen white just like my 92 on Saturday. The guy got $120.00 for it.
I called them at 10 am. Monday morning, they already crushed it!!

New green Will Lewis SHO emblem

I have a brand new custom made emblem made by Will Lewis.

Looks like this:

But in the colour below (green background with silver letterings):

They are high quality acrylic done by a lazer engraver and not just a sticker. Will sells them for $30 USD for a pair, I only have one and wants $20 for it.

I've dealt with Will a couple times before and he's a great stand up guy that does high quality work. I highly recommand him if you're interested in his service. I know Marc will agree with me on this one as well.

Can anyone suggest/reccomend a good, fairly cheap muffler shop that will make me a custom exhaust??

I have the way its gotta be bent/welded, just need someone to do it for me on my gen 4...
